What camps and providers order

Activity-period fleets. Pairs for the largest group skating at once, plus spares, with the size run weighted toward the camper ages you enroll.

Adjustable skates for the youngest campers. One pair covers four sizes, which cuts the count a day camp has to stock for 5 to 8 year olds.

Safety gear. Helmets and pad sets to the same head count. Many camps require helmets for every skater, and the quote lists them as a separate line so they can be funded separately.

Spares and storage. A spares kit for the activity director and carts or bins for the equipment shed.

Timing the order

  • Summer camps order by late March to have skates on site for staff training week.
  • After-school providers order in late summer for the fall term, before school shipments compete for stock.
  • Year-round programs can set a standing parts order so wheels and toe stops arrive on a schedule.

Sizing a camp fleet

Camp sizing differs from a school set because the ages change week to week. The size guide shows an age-band distribution for mixed-age camps, and the quote adjusts it to your enrollment by session.

Frequently asked questions

How many pairs does a summer camp need?

Enough for the largest activity group at one time plus spares, in a size run that matches the camper ages. A camp running 40 campers through skating at once usually orders 48 to 55 pairs. Camps with a dedicated skate period for multiple groups order more and add storage.

Can skates handle outdoor use at camp?

Yes, with outdoor or hybrid wheels. Tell us the surface (blacktop, concrete pad, sport court) and the quote specifies the wheel. Indoor wheels are the default for gyms and rec halls.

When should a camp order for summer?

By late March to have skates on site for staff training week. Orders placed in May compete with school rush shipments and may miss the first session.

Do after-school providers pay by purchase order?

Providers attached to a school district or city pay by purchase order. Independent providers and nonprofits pay by card or ACH. Either way the quote is the same.

Can skates be shared across several program sites?

Yes. Many providers buy one fleet and rotate it between sites on a schedule. We ship labeled by size with a size inventory to make the rotation easy to track.
