What tribal programs order
Youth center fleets. Quads in a wide size run for after-school and weekend sessions, with helmets and pads to the same head count, stored on carts in a gym or multipurpose room.
School class sets. Tribal and BIE-funded schools order the same way public schools do: a class set sized from the roster, non-marking wheels for the gym floor, and a purchase order. The schools page covers the details.
Wellness and prevention programs. Skating fits physical-activity goals in diabetes prevention, youth wellness, and substance-prevention programs. Equipment quotes are written by line so they match the program budget.
Buying with a tribal purchase order
- Vendor setup. W-9, vendor registration, and insurance certificates returned with the quote.
- Quote format. Equipment by line, freight separate, price held 30 days and extended through council or board approval.
- Grant paperwork. Quotes written so they can go into an application, a budget justification, or a drawdown request without rework.
- Multiple sites. One purchase order, separate shipments and size lists for each site.
Delivery to the reservation
Freight is quoted to the real delivery point, including rural routes and sites without a dock. The carrier calls ahead, uses a liftgate where there is no forklift, and the shipment arrives boxed by size with a size inventory so staff can set up the same day.
Funding sources programs have used
Tribal youth programs fund recreation equipment through tribal general funds, Indian Health Service and tribal wellness grants, Boys & Girls Clubs of America Native programs, BIE school budgets, and community foundation grants. The funding page lists the kinds of sources and what a quote needs to include to go into an application.
Frequently asked questions
Do you ship to reservation addresses?
Yes. Freight is quoted to the actual delivery address, including rural routes and tribal lands without a loading dock. Liftgate delivery and a call-ahead are included where needed.
Can a tribal government or tribal school buy with a purchase order?
Yes. Tribal governments, tribal schools, BIE-funded schools, and tribal nonprofits pay by purchase order with net terms. We supply a W-9, vendor forms, and a quote on your requisition format.
Is sales tax charged on orders to a tribal program?
Orders to tribal governments and their programs are handled according to the tax status you provide. Send the exemption documentation with the order and it is applied before invoicing.
Do you work with grant-funded programs?
Yes. Quotes are written so they can go into a grant application or a drawdown request: equipment described by line, freight separate, and a 30-day price hold that we extend through the award decision.
Can one order serve several sites?
Yes. A youth center, a school, and a wellness program on the same reservation can receive separate shipments on one purchase order, each with its own size list.
