What churches and nonprofits order

Youth group skate nights. A fleet of quads in a mixed size run so the whole group skates on site instead of booking a venue. Many groups start with the youngest ages and add adult sizes the following year.

Outreach and community events. Skates for block parties, vacation Bible school, and back-to-school events, with helmets and pads counted to the same head count.

Programs for youth-serving nonprofits. Clubs, mentoring programs, and after-school ministries that want a fleet they own and can lend out.

Paying for the fleet

  • A single donor or sponsor can pay the invoice directly and receive an acknowledgment from your organization.
  • Memorial and designated gifts are a common source. The quote names the equipment so the gift can be restricted to it.
  • Grants from community foundations and youth-development funders cover recreation equipment. See the funding page.
  • Cost sharing between a church and a school, or two congregations, is handled by splitting the invoice.

Storing and lending the fleet

A fleet that is owned by one organization and lent to others needs a size list and a sign-out sheet. We ship skates labeled by size and include a size inventory with every order so the first lending day starts organized.

Frequently asked questions

Do nonprofits get tax-exempt pricing?

Nonprofits with a state sales-tax exemption send the certificate with the order and no sales tax is charged. The unit price is the same volume price every buyer gets at that quantity.

Can a donor pay for the order directly?

Yes. A donor, sponsor, or foundation can pay the invoice directly by card or ACH, and the shipment still goes to the church or nonprofit. The invoice is addressed however your bookkeeper needs it.

What do youth groups usually order?

Between 24 and 60 pairs of quads in a mixed youth and adult size run, plus helmets. Enough for a skate night in the fellowship hall or gym without renting.

Is a skate fleet cheaper than renting a venue?

For a group that skates more than a few times a year, usually yes. The quote includes a cost-per-event comparison against your local venue rate when you give us the number of events you plan.

Can you supply skates for a Boys & Girls Club, YMCA, or similar?

Yes. Youth-serving nonprofits order the same way: a size run from your membership, helmets and pads on the same quote, and a purchase order or card payment.
