What parks departments order
Community center fleets. Quads in a wide size run for drop-in sessions and youth programming, stored on carts and shared across age groups.
Pop-up and seasonal skating events. A fleet sized to the floor footprint, with wheels matched to the tile or surface, plus a parts stock that lasts the season.
Program equipment for camps and leagues. Covered with the camp and after-school buyers on the camps page.
Buying through a public agency
- Vendor registration. We register in your procurement portal and return a W-9 with the quote.
- Informal quotes. Most skate purchases fall under the formal bid threshold. The written quote meets the multiple-quote rule.
- Formal bids. For larger fleets, send the RFQ or IFB and we bid on your forms.
- Budget timing. Quotes are held 30 days and extended through a council or board vote on request.
- Grant match. Quotes can be split to show the grant-funded and locally funded portions.
Sizing a public fleet
Drop-in sessions bring every age at once. Public fleets stock more adult sizes than a school set and a deeper run of youth sizes than a rental business. The size guide shows a public-session distribution to start from, and the quote adjusts it to your attendance data.
Frequently asked questions
Can a city or county buy with a purchase order?
Yes. Municipal purchase orders with net terms are standard. We register as a vendor in your procurement system and supply a W-9 and any insurance certificates the purchasing office asks for.
Do you respond to formal bids and RFQs?
Yes. Send the solicitation and we return a bid on your forms by the deadline. For purchases under your informal bid threshold, the standard quote usually meets the three-quote requirement.
What skates work for an outdoor pop-up skating event?
Quads with outdoor or hybrid wheels for a plastic-tile or sealed surface, with a share of adjustable kids skates. For a seasonal synthetic-ice or roller surface, tell us the tile type and we match the wheel.
Can skates ship to more than one community center?
Yes. Split shipments to multiple sites are quoted as separate freight lines on one purchase order.
Do you offer helmets and pads for a public program?
Yes. Helmets and pad sets are quoted to the same head count, in the size ranges a drop-in public session needs.
